The hostel organises family dinners, pub crawls, and group excursions. Ferrel welcomes visitors warmly, with nearby Peniche famous for surfing. Historical sites like the Berlengas Islands and Cabo Carvoeiro are nearby, along with Serra d’El-Rei’s villas and Óbidos’ castle.
Position Description
There are three different roles available:
1. Night Shift: Shift from 00:00 to 08:00 at the Hostel reception. A non-social profile, keep the hostel silent at night. At the reception, during the night shift, must communicate the essential and not be the “starter” for conversation for the reception not to become a social area causing noise. has to be a personality strict and direct. Outside of your shift, try don’t interact with guests to must, to avoid putting yourself in a difficult position during the night shift. Pocket money given for this role.
Hours: 5 days work, 2 days rest. Availability: Feb – Nov
2. Hostel Activities: Leading & developing daily activities inside the hostel such as; Drinking Games, Pub Crawl, Pub Quiz/Trivia, Beer Pong Tournament. Promote drinking during activities. Create content for social networks during activities .Previous experience in developing activities in Hostels is required. Be a natural party person – Respecting and Defending the interests of the hostel.
Hours: 3 hours of work per day, with 2 days of rest / week. Availability: Mar – Nov
3. Multi-tasker: Help with multitasking at the Hostel and rentals. During the rest of the shift you must help at reception if there is nothing else to do.
Hours: 3 hours of work per day, with 1 day of rest / week. Availability: Mar – Jun
