This place was an absolute wonder to work in! It’s a very social hostel with events happening every night. I ended up falling I’ll after a few days and the staff were extremely helpful and caring towards me. After recovering I ended up having a fab time working behind the bar meeting so many friends. I will miss my colleagues so much, my little Family<3 Granada is a beautiful city as well with lots to see and do. I especially recommend Laguna de Apoyo (wear sun cream!!!)
Thank you to my Family for everything you did to make my experience with you so amazing!

Where to begin? We had 4 great weeks in this amazing hostel, we felt right at home! The staff is the absolute sweetest you could ever find in a hostel. We even celebrated christmas together! the volunteer coordinator Silvia is such a lovely, funny and open person who is so fun to work with! The work itself doesn‘t really feel like working since its mostly helping behind the bar and socializing with the guests, giving out the welcome drink and “welcoming” them to the hostel. Also organizing fun activities such as beerpong tournaments, trivia nights or a booze cruise, during which we simply had fun with the guests and partied. You work 5 days and then get two off-days which gives you lots of time to explore. You get free acommodation and breakfast as well as many discounts and other advantages

After being able to last-minute arrive here, we originally decided to spent 4 weeks at the hostel, which quickly turned into 6 weeks and we absolutely loved it! Ths is located right in the city center, so you can explore everything by foot, but still you will find a calm and chill atmosphere that gives you the opportunity to rest from your travels or socialize with other travelers or locals. Apart from free laundry, breakfast and a weekly allowance at the bar, we were also granted discounts to enjoy the tours to the Laguna and the Vulcano offered by the hostel. The staff working here is great. Soon we became friends with everyone and now we will miss all of them :(… Working was so much fun that it often didn’t even feel like working at all. The main job was to work the bar between 5 and 10pm, as well as promoting and hosting the many activities offered and hosted by the family. As a volunteer, it’s all about setting the right vibe and making sure everyone is having a great time. So if you’re an extroverted person that loves to socialise and attend events, they might just be your next family! Hope to see you again soon guys ❤️
