This volunteer experience was incredible! This is the biggest hostel I have stayed in. An incredible space in the middle of nature, and at the same time the center of the city where everyone can find their own cozy place. I met many amazing people and learned a lot of new things about work, perception of life, and languages. The island is very beautiful and feels good energy, but the people undeniably make this place magical. Special thanks to Gerson and the rest of the staff! the hostel is in my heart ❤️ I’ll come back for sure!!

All the magic you see on socials really happens here. the hostel structure is incredible: you can do yoga classes, chill by the pool during the day and enjoy the night at the local bar. It’s located in the heart of Ilhabela, with easy access to many beaches and waterfalls. Staying longer you may have different and amazing experiences like boat trips and a journey at Bonete. Last and most important point: people. There are many other volunteers there at the same time and this helps a lot elevating the whole experience, plus the hostel staff and all the guests you’ll meet. Thanks!

The place I love the most in Ilhabela! Ricardo is a great host and he also went with us to the beach to take part on the Beach Clean Up project. the hostel is beautiful, there’s a good bar to have some drinks, a big pool with a slider and the jungle surrounding is breathtaking. The staff is always in a good mood as well. I’ll come back as always I can.

This place is super beautiful and located in a great place! There lots to do, great energy and vibe, guest and staff. If you’re not speaking Portuguese sometimes can be difficult since most of the staff speaks only that, but it’s also a great opportunity to learn And also, it’s all about the energy you bring and take! The volunteer room are really small, and the shower pretty moldy but their working on another concept for the volunteers Also Ricardo is welcome to receive any comments or requests, so ask or say what’s on your mind there someone who listens 💪🏼
