The hostel is ideally located in the heart of the emerging, charming, and historically rich town of Wailuku, which sits at the entrance of Maui’s iconic and lush Iao Valley. The hostel organizes free daily activities including excursions to incredible destinations like the road to Hana, Big Beach, Drum Circles, Snorkeling, Sunset at Haleakala, and many more!
The hostel is located 28 km from the Wailea Emerald Course, 34 km from the Lahaina Boat Harbor, and 35 km from the Lahaina Historic District.

Looking for a skilled photographer to capture captivating images of our freshly revamped lobby. Additionally, we’re interested in documenting some of our guided guest excursions and activities during your stay with us. In exchange for your photography services, we are pleased to offer you complimentary accommodation at our hostel for approximately 1-2 weeks, complete with access to all our events and amenities. We’re excited to welcome an exceptional individual to become part of our team!

I just finished spending three months on Maui, and I had the best summer ever thanks to this work exchange!! If you’re thinking about applying to a volunteer program in Hawaii, this is the one!!! I had the best experience at the hostel, and I made so many lifelong memories & friendships! The work is organized, the housing is great, and the managers are incredible!!! The hostel feels like one big family, and it is something really special to be apart of!!

My time at the hostel was truly unforgettable. This was my first volunteer experience, and it exceeded all of my expectations. There were numerous perks to staying there, including free daily tour excursions such as snorkeling and trips to the beach, BBQ night, access to snorkel gear and surf boards, and more. The work was very manageable, leaving plenty of time for exploring the island and having fun. The managers were also very flexible with scheduling.

This was my first volunteer experience & I had the best time at the hostel! Both the staff & other volunteers are so welcoming & kind, & it quickly became my home away from home. The work schedule is easy & flexible so you are able to explore Maui or plan trips to other islands. I made lifelong friends & unforgettable memories from cliff jumping, sunset watching, swimming with sea turtles, drum circle & bbq nights. I truly had the time of my life & I’m so grateful for this experience. Thank you Will & Zac for everything! <3

The hostel is a home away from home & this is hugely due to the people… both staff & volunteers. Everyone is so welcoming & fun & open to all experiences. No matter the time of day there is always someone to talk to or hangout with & no matter your shift you will always have enough time to explore the island, surf, hike, swim, etc. Thank you to everyone I shared this experience with bc it wouldn’t have been the same without you🤙
