Located in the heart of Catania, the hostel has been welcoming guests since 2018. Its prime location provides convenient access not only to the city’s major tourist attractions but also to nearby urban and regional bus stops. The hostel has an open kitchen available throughout the day. In addition, a spacious and inviting communal area serves as the breakfast venue in the morning, allowing our guests to connect and exchange experiences. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning.

Position Description
Seeking volunteers who can assist in various aspects including handling customer reception, maintaining cleanliness throughout the property, and assisting with breakfast service. Additionally, we need support during the night shift to ensure a peaceful and enjoyable environment for our guests.
Responsibilities will encompass tasks such as cleaning the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas, as well as managing bed linen changes and overall housekeeping duties. Furthermore, the role involves helping with guest check-ins, check-outs, and providing assistance to guests as needed.

The weeks I spent at the gostel were amazing! The work wasn’t difficult since it was just housekeeping and being in the front desk. The schedule was flexible and the hours were as agreed. Salvo and Reza are super nice and welcoming, I met some great people during my time there and had the chance to travel around Sicily. It was my first volunteering experience and I’m really grateful for it!

I had a really nice time at the hostel. It was my first volunteering experience and I really enjoyed it ! I met so many people and was able to travel to a lot of places in Sicilia. And Salvo is such a good person. The hours were as agreed but when there were less volunteers the work was a little bit more difficult.

The month I spent at the hostel was very special for me. The work was not very difficult, cleaning 6 days out of 7 and then 3 days we also had the reception shift. Salvo and Reza were very nice, understanding and flexible with the schedule. I got to travel around Sicily, I met interesting people at the hostel and I feel like I’ve really grown as a person during my stay here. I am really grateful for this experience!

My experience at the hostel was incredible, I met people and visited incredible places, I was really happy in the weeks I spent there, the work is very well divided and organized! it was a pleasure to meet Salvo and Reza! I left wanting to stay longer and with the desire to return one day 🙂

My experience at the hostel was very good, the other volunteers and Nati made us have an excellent stay. The tasks are very simple and what was agreed is fulfilled. I recommend this volunteering
