Hostel Description
Vibrant kite center that includes a surf-inspired hotel, restaurant, bar, and kite school. It is situated on the beautiful Gulbahce kite beach in Urla, Izmir – Turkey, along the country’s west coast. The location is approximately 14 km from Urla and 50 km from Izmir, with convenient access to public transportation.
The center, owned by a Turkish-French couple and has a roof area, garden, pool, and even a skate park. With its welcoming and sociable atmosphere, you’ll have the opportunity to meet both foreigners and locals. Additionally, our center is pet-friendly. Regarding our staff, we are divided into three departments: the hotel, kite school, and restaurant. The hotel team consists of a manager, receptionist, cleaning staff, and a night attendant.
Position Description
Position requires assistance in several areas including
General Maintenance: Help in creating DIY projects to enhance our premises. Subsequently, we seek assistance in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our establishment. During busy weekends and crowded events, we kindly ask for support with tasks such as cleaning the reception area, common spaces, hanging clothes, and other similar responsibilities. Please note that this does not involve room cleaning.
Gardening: We are in need of help in maintaining and tending to our garden and outdoor spaces.
Babysitting: We also have a requirement for babysitting services.
It is important to note that we do not expect all workers to handle every task mentioned above. We make an effort to assign tasks according to each individual’s strengths and preferences. We are specifically looking for long-term volunteers, with a minimum commitment of one month and a maximum duration of seven months.
